Concert Band is the second half of the school year band class, during which, band members learn and perform several concerts and compete in local and out-of-state festivals. The concert band usually travels to California and performs at least once and performs at least two concerts.

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in honor bands, which are select groups of the best musicians in the area. Honor groups include: the district honor band, comprised of the best musicians in our school district, regional honor band, comprised of the best musicians in the Phoenix region, and all-state honor band, comprised of the best musicians in the state of Arizona.
